Design leadership

I lead by setting a clear design direction early, delegating ownership of journeys to designers, and protecting quality through structured review. My job is to make the team's best work possible — and to defend design decisions with reasoning stakeholders can act on.

Design philosophy

Clarity over decoration. Every design decision should trace back to a user problem or a business goal — and I can name the trade-off behind each one.

Management approach

Direction first, then autonomy. I prioritise by value and dependency, run regular reviews to keep consistency, and coach designers by reviewing reasoning, not just pixels.
